Installation Instructions
Quick Start: Initially, locate the "autorun" icon in the CD for a quick installation guide.
DirectX9.0 Installation: Ensure to install "DirectX9.0" from the CD before running any program.
Simulator Launch: Execute "SimLauncher2017.exe" as administrator for easy and convenient program switching. Alternatively, adjust the USB emulator handle's switch in the lower right corner - choose from four sliding gears.
Selecting Software: Use Simulator Switcher to choose between G7.0, Phoenix 5.0, or XTR before running.
XTR Simulator Setup Guide
Step 1: For XTR setup, correctly position the analog switch to the XTR section, connect the USB lint plug to your computer, and switch on the remote control power. If the power light flashes and there's no computer recognition, try a different computer USB port and repeat the setup.
Step 2: Once XTR software is installed, open it, navigate to "remote control" in the menu bar, then to "channel distribution" to set up channel allocations as shown. If signal setting fails due to channel allocation, switch to another USB port.
Step 3: For channel settings, select a helicopter model and center all remote control tunings. Fully push and pull the throttle several times to avoid calibration issues. Then, find "calibrate neutral position" in the software under "remote control" for calibration. If any channels are incorrect, adjust them from "+" to "-" as necessary and recalibrate.
Step 4: If the helicopter feels too heavy, adjust its weight to less than 1 kg via "model" and "physical parameters of change" for closer real-machine sensitivity. Modify other simulator parameters as needed, like gyro sensitivity, for optimal flight. Note: Mastery of the simulator, akin to real flight, requires gradual practice.
Simulator Overview
Connects to computers as a remote control flight simulator, not a radio.
Does not support actual physical remote-controlled aircraft.
Powered by computer USB, eliminating the need for batteries.
